Open Age Group Drumming Classes - Info Pack
How our drumming classes work
Classes are 1.5 hours and are taught by one of our professional Master Drummers from West Africa - Mady Keita (Mali) or Abli Laryea (Ghana).
Classes occur in small groups of 4-10 students of similar skill level where possible. Students are challenged individually based on skill level.
Classes are $25 each ($22 concession) and are billed by the term. Multiple payment options are available. |
|
Learn to play the djembe, understand its place in the West African traditional percussion ensemble and how it can be adapted to Western music.
Classes take place at multiple locations in Melbourne, including our studio in Bayswater and West Waverley Hall in Mount Waverley.
Classes run from Monday to Thursdays in the evenings, 7:00-8:30pm, throughout the school terms. |
|
We operate with a COVIDSafe Plan and keep up to date with government requirements. We offer refunds for any part of the term that has to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
* Please note: We no longer offer casual classes during school terms. |
